A custom-built home by Wishon and Carter was thoughtfully reimagined with a deep respect for its natural surroundings. What was once a dark, formal living room has been transformed into a light-filled, inviting space that feels connected to the outdoors. By opening up the layout and emphasizing natural light, the design breathes new life into the home—blurring the line between inside and out, and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that celebrates the beauty just beyond its walls.
INSPIRATION
With the transition to life as empty nesters, the homeowners envisioned a space that would feel both warm and welcoming—a place where their children could always return and feel at home. At the heart of the design is a thoughtfully curated collection of cherished antiques, lovingly passed down through generations, each piece telling its own story.
