PROJECT
This "new" old home had plenty of rooms for a young growing family, but lacked a traditional home office. Not wanting to sacrifice one of their bedrooms for a workspace, the couple sought to turn their narrow sunroom into an office that could also function as a quiet space to relax and read at the end of a long day.
INSPIRATION
Our client's appreciation of history, maps, and old world charm heavily influenced the design of this room. Starting with the wool plaid drapery from British brans, Mulberry, every bit of this room has a masculine touch that's both inviting and cozy. The menswear inspired herringbone fabric was carefully placed on the wingback chair, while the pheasant pillow is a nod to the husband's sporting persuits.
THE CLIENT
A young family with a love for tradition.
